abouts menachem

Disheartened after his first writing gig (for a Canadian wedding magazine) imploded, Menachem traipsed around the globe, traveling, teaching, dancing, performing, chicken-raising, tour-guiding, and occasionally penning incomprehensible articles for sketchy foreign journals. Then Columbia U. in New York, Washington D.C. for some stuff, and then Lithuania, doin’ the Fulbright thang. Now it’s complicated. He’s also a proud alum of the Toronto School of Circus Arts, and falls madly in love with anyone who can properly pronounce his name. (To those inclined, here’s some help.)

Menachem’s work has appeared on the New Yorker‘s Book Bench, Slate, Huffington Post, Vogue Hommes, The Atlantic website, Tablet, and elsewhere.
